Returning Nehanda remains to Zim still under tyranny is decapitating her a 2nd time!

"The heads of heroes and heroines of the First Chimurenga who were brutally decapitated by the settler regime before being ferried to Britain as trophies of conquest will be repatriated soon as authorities from both countries are working out the logistics to conclude the process," reported the Herald. 



"The heads that are reported to be on display in a British history museum testify to the horrendous price Zimbabweans paid for the independence and democracy the country enjoys today." Only a seasoned Zanu PF apologist would pen such nonsense because this is not the free Zimbabwe Mbuya Nehanda and others dreamed of and died for!

In 35 years, Zanu PF has taken this great nation from the frying pan of white colonialism into the brimstone fires of hell. Zanu PF is one of the most incompetent, corrupt and tyrannical regime the world has ever seen!

There is no doubt that Mbuya Nehanda objected to the white colonial practise of driving the blacks off their productive ancestral lands onto margin lands and give the productive lands to whites. Her spirit would be enraged that President Mugabe has since taken back the productive lands from the white but only to give it to his Zanu PF cronies. Millions of our people are still stuck on unproductive margin lands.

Her rage will soon be replaced by uncontrollably wailing and stamping of feet when she learns that ever since President Mugabe seized the productive farms in 2000 the nation has failed to produce enough to feed our people let alone have surplus for export. Seizing the farms was the easy bit but putting them into productive use was another matter.

Worse still, President Mugabe and his Zanu PF cronies are now sitting on this important resource holding the whole nation to ransom!  

Zimbabweans are starving in the Garden of Eden!  

The spirits of Mbuya Nehanda and Sekuru Kaguvi will learn on arrival back from their long incarceration in a London Museum of how Zanu PF has systematically denied the people of Zimbabwe their basic freedoms and human rights including the right to a free vote and even the right to life! The regime has murdered over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans in its 35 years in power.

Mbuya Nehanda would be shocked to hear President Mugabe has ruled the nation for all the 35 years since independent contrary to our African culture demanding chieftainship must be taken in turns. "Ushe madzoro hunoravanwa!" She would told President Mugabe herself if was alive today.  

If Mbuya Nehanda and all the others heroes and heroines who gave their very lives to end white colonial rule had known the country would be turned into a den of thieves and murderers then they would have fought to end white colonial oppression with one hand and with the other fought to uproot the streak of barbarism, corruption and tyranny we now see in our black leaders like President Mugabe! It simply does not make any sense that anyone would want to risk it all to remove one tyrant only to replace him/her with another be it replacing a foreign with an indigenous one!

It does not matter what spin President Mugabe and his apologist give to the repatriation of Mbuya Nehanda and Sekuru Kaguvi's remains; it will not be the home coming the two would have wanted. To have their remains handled by people whose hands are red with the blood of tens of thousands of innocent Zimbabweans murdered for selfish political gain be like being decapitating a second time!
