MASSIVE MARCH On Saturday before the journey to Mhlahlandlela

A picture showing some of the people who walked along Bulawayo streets on the last year's King Mzilikazi commemoration. This year's march is expected to be bigger and more fascinating.
It has been confirmed by the organisers that there will be a massive march on Saturday the 5th of September. The march will be part of the King Mzilikazi memorial celebration, which will take place on the same day.
The march will start in the morning at 8:00am at the Mzilikazi Post Office in Bulawayo. It will then proceed until it reaches the Bulawayo City Hall. Everyone from everywhere is kindly invited to take part in this historical carnival. People are asked to come wearing traditional attires and also bring whistles and vuvuzelas.
After reaching the City Hall, those who would like to continue with the celebration will then get into cars and head to Mhlahlandlela headquarters in Matopo, which was the capital settlement of the king Mzilikazi, and also his burial place. Public transport is believed to be available at the City Hall after the march. Last year's public transport to Mhlahlandlela was $10 (including return ticket), and most probably it will be the same price this year.
The ceremony will end around 500pm. Those who would like to continue dancing traditional music would be allowed to dance till the next sunrise. There will be plenty of meat and traditional beer.
Those with private transport, here are the directions to the Mhlahlandlela headquarters, which is only 22km away from Bulawayo: From the Bulawayo city centre, you drive along the Bulawayo- Kezi road. Just after passing through the Buawayo suburbs, along that road, you will then have to turn to Old Gwanda road which will then take you to Mhlahlandlela. When you get a bit lost, please do not hesitate to ask the local residents, they are humble people.
