Drama as cop driving without licence crashes, flees scene

10/5/2015, 6:31 PM - +263 78 *** ****: On Friday there was drama along Bulawayo Beitbridge road right inside the Gwanda city centre when an unregistered silver Audi drove by an unlicensed Z.R.P officer rammed into a taxi cab, after stopping the officer exchanged places with the licensed one taking to the steering taking the Audi away from the scene.after failing to convince the taxi driver to move away from the gathering crowd the traffic officers arrived on the scene,the crowd was stunned together with the driver the actual officer who was driving ran away from the accident and the one who was the passenger came forward claiming to be the driver.business came to a stand still when other taxi drivers wanted to beat the police accusing them for taking sides when it was clear that their colleague had committed an offence.
