Tsvangirai's call for mass demonstrations a tired strategy!

It is mind boggling to note that Morgan Tsvangirai is calling for mass demonstrations against Government which is synonymous with his trade unionist activism when he was in the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions ZCTU). This is an indicator that he is running short supply of ideas after his successive failures in polls since 2000.

Mass demonstrations are volatile and are likely to degenerate into anarchy which may lead to fully-fledged violence which may embrace the rest of the nation. It seems he is not content with the level of intra-party violence which he is fanning daily in our MDC-T. He wants to spread his wings of violence into the entire nation. My question is, if he has failed to keep our party intact and we are facing a total collapse, how is he going to manage issues which spread beyond the scope of the party?

After all, real democracy is not shrouded in demonstrations. Is this his admission that he has failed to gain power constitutionally, hence the need to smuggle himself through the back door. I want to warn him that this will be taken as subversion which will give some people the passport to Chikurubi maximum prison for free. Probably that is the right place for such hardcore morons.

Tsvangirai lacks basic charisma which makes up a good leader. I wonder his tactful and strategic acumen. In the past, when he called for mass protests which were dubbed "Final Push", he failed to lead the masses. Instead he chose to stay at his Stratahaven home awaiting the masses to lead themselves on the streets of Harare. The police had to call him briefly at Harare Central Police Station for questioning in connection with the planned protests before he was released, and he went back to his home again. Masses were left stranded on the streets with no leadership. As a result the Final Push failed dismally.

In view of his historical record of splendid failures, I can't help to laugh my lungs out what changes have taken place in him since then which makes us believe that he will succeed this time around. The prudent thing he can do at the moment is to assist in the resuscitation of the economy which is declining while he is watching from the terraces as if he is at a soccer match. That is the only way his leadership can be put to test, as opposed to re-invigorating efforts to destruction only. The electorate may see his relevance as an alternative president out of that.
But I want to warn this man that, a father cannot fight outsiders successfully when he is an enemy to everyone in his family. Therefore surely how can Tsvangirai succeed in mobilizing masses into protests when our party is in disarray? United we stand! Divided we fall!

Tsvangirai is putting effort to divert attention from MDC-T party to national issues which are more challenging to him. I urge this man to put our house in order before straying to national issues. The most critical issue in our party is leadership renewal first then we can strategize from there. There is imperative need to address the leadership crisis in MDC-T first as opposed to taking to the streets which will slide the economy into real anarchy considering that the economy is operating at minus three point one percent (-3, 1%).

It is embarrassing to note that MDFC-T support base is fast losing faith in the leadership which is concentrating on bickering than re-aligning the party to boost its relevance on the political landscape.

I say to Tsvangirai stop witch-hunting now so that issues operate democratically in the party!

It is my best belief that Elton Mangoma and Tendai Biti tried to workout functional solutions for this party. But unfortunately they faced a rebuke from stooges driving the party at the moment. Let's respect these men for standing sternly for democracy in the party.

I have a special appeal to all true democrats in the party, they must ensure that people join hands and resurrect democracy which is on the death bed in MDC-T, lest we crumble! Morgan Tsvangirai ‘the Corpse' must leave now to pave for sanity to rule.
