Conmen led us to Zimbambwa

13 Nov 2015 at 17:30hrs | Views
In 1957, we orginised ourselves as an oppressed Nation and chose Joshua Nkomo to lead us to a free Zimbabwe.

We knew the Zimbabwe that we wanted to be led to and all its ethics, concepts and precepts were to be designed by us as one united nation of Zimbabwe.

Just like in any organisation where many people congregate to achieve something, there was a vulnerability that we did not foresee. Conmen infiltrated us and divided us on tribal lines in which Mugabe emerged leader.

Mugabe, would not know anything about our 1957 vision of independence as he was not part of the liberation movement. Mugabe in 1957 was working and looking for money to support his single mother.

He was an honest boy doing good for his mother just like all good boys.

In his money hunting errand, Mugabe stumbled into politics in 1961. There is no evidence to show that Mugabe did this for Zimbabwe.

As an honest money hunting young man, Mugabe may have noticed that there was more money in politics than what he was earning in Ghana. That politics had vulnerabilities where a multitude of scantly educated people were trying to find their way to Zimbabwe.

Mugabe astutely identified a role to play where money would be to his favour. He diverted a mutitude of people who were trying to go to Zimbabwe and led them to Zimbambga.

Zimbambga is not Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe was to be led by the people, for the people and at the people's choice. The people had chosen Nkomo to lead them to Zimbabwe and Nkomo knew that the people would never accept Nkomo's wife, Mafuyana to say a single opinion in the People's Zimbabwe.

Now there is even Mnangambwa to further take Zimbabwa to the dog kennel.
