No more unity accord celebrations in Zimbabwe - ZAPU pulled out in 2009

02 Dec 2015 at 13:37hrs | Views
The so called unity accord is now a history to ZAPU because in 2009 ZAPU pulled out of the unity accord of 1987.

The main reason was that in 2008 elections; there was violence; killings and violation of human rights by ZANU pf regime. ZAPU is no longer called PF ZAPU but it is called ZAPU; PF was added when we went to unity accord. 22-12-15 should be declared as a commemoration day for the gukurahundi victims.

On this day; TRC (truth and reconciliation commissions) programmes must be set so that there is healing and people need justice and they need to know who killed their relatives; why they were killed and where are the graves of their beloved ones so that they collect the remains and bury them with dignity.

Some other people failed to get their identity documents because of that their parents were killed and they don't have information to produce at the home affairs department.

ZANU is still celebrating unknown unity and there is no reason to say ZANU PF because it can not be a patriotic front alone.

All Zimbabweans on the 22nd of December every year must have a moment of silence for at least 5 minutes in remembrance  of the sons of the soil who lost their lives in the hands of the sponsored 5th brigade.
