People First scaremongering

The People First project by Joice Mujuru is one typical manipulation of human anxieties dwelling on people's emotions like fears, likes and hope. Hence, its ghost approach to politics with a plethora of exaggerations and perceived clandestine strategies and defections.
It is funny how some sections of the media are easily excited, believing and writing of supposed secret meetings with officials from other political parties. To then have the PF being touted as winning the battle against ZANU PF by claiming to be hosting a myriad of secret meetings is tantamount to shooting self in the foot.
Mujuru and his cronies know the game of politics better. Intelligence is like an undergarment which every political party has, no matter how beautiful and comfortable ones feel in it, it cannot be shown to the public.
This then qualifies PF's projects as a theatrical play and dicing with lights to create shadows of victory and nothing more.
Apparently the activities of People First have send a shiver down the spine of MDC-T, whose spokesperson Obert Gutu was quick to unconvincingly say, Saviour Kasukuwere was the one to worry. His main reason for this disclaimer being that Mujuru was more of a friend to the MDC-T than an enemy.
We all know there are no permanent friends in politics; as such MDC-T is betting on false comfort while it is the one on the ropes. When media reports indicate that Mujuru has been meeting former legislators especially those disgruntled by the Morgan Tsvangirai MDC outfit, the opposition should be very afraid, that they waterloo is near.
It is noble to understand that PF if ever it is coming, it is doing so as an opposition political party not a disposed government or anything more. From the grapevine, the PF is allegedly coming as a hybrid typically designed to address the faults that dogged Morgan Richard Tsvangirai. After swallowing Tsvangirai that is when it can perhaps move for a greater kill ZANU PF.
Who then should worry? For the time being the relevance battle for PF is with the opposition. That is the league for Mujuru's shadowy project. It can only be promoted from the division after it successfully engulfs the MDC-T and other amateurish players in this category.
The pitting of PF and ZANU PF shouldn't be belittled as the revolutionary party is multifaceted politically, socially, economically and spiritually. Certainly one cannot compare the MDC-T with ZANU PF. The two establishments can never be ideologically equated, since the latter has an astounding historical background, deeply engraved in the nation's identity.
People First has a long way to go as far as political appeal is concerned. Perhaps the leaders should consult Simba Makoni on a comprehensive approach to the lesson of political disillusionment following overestimation of one's influence.
We shouldn't forget such lessons very fast as a people. Political milestones reached by ZANU PF so far are beyond the stage of being simply overturned by an imagined PF which still remains a corridor rumour. It will take a revolution to reverse the achievements. That is why one can dismiss the claim of PF winning what is referred as a battle against ZANU PF.
It can never be a battle rather a revolution. Clearly under such a status quo, it would be crushing the glimpse of the obvious to spell out the hyperbole behind the activities of People First.
