In The New Zimbabwe

After prolonged periods of suffering, people tend to lose hope; the bright future slowly fades away. There don't see any other life except the one that they are living. Many people are talking about fighting for a new Zimbabwe but people have to see it before then can pursue it. In my own view this is what a new Zimbabwe will be like and these are the things that will happen in the New Zimbabwe
Your neighbor can not take our belongings because you belong to another party. You will go out to the market place to sell goods so you can take care of your family and no one will beat you and take your money and goods away.
There will be good stewardship of Zimbabwe's economy as resources. As a result, there will be more jobs. Apart from more jobs, wages will be higher as companies will be able to sell more goods and actually export the surplus. There will be more medicine at hospitals and people and there will be better health care. No one will die because of curable or preventable diseases
We will have a president whom we love and who loves us in return, a president we don't have to fear or dare make fun of or offer advice on how to carry out the responsibilities we gave to him. He will serve his appointed time and will not use the security forces to stay in power.
You can support any party without fear of your life. If you are not happy with the performance and the corrupt activities of someone you elected, you can actually have the freedom of not voting for him again.
When someone who is politically connected beats you up or takes away something that belongs to you, you can go to court and actually get justice.
After a transparent land audit and the implementation of the one man one farm policy, there will be greater land utilization. As a result there will be cheaper food and people suffering from diseases especially those suffering from HIV will live a longer and healthier life.
Like how it was before teachers, nurses and civil servants will be able to buy cars and build good homes where they can raise their children. Our children will not have to be scattered in foreign lands. We can die surrounded by their love instead of hearing about their miserable life in foreign lands
There are many good things waiting for us in the new Zimbabwe. We cannot mention them all. Now that we know them let us fight for them, let us dream of them and let us achieve them.
