Do you remember the songs 'Badlala njani ibhola, IBosso siyizwa ngokuskowa, Ngubani owayekhona'? There is a very positive and great initiative by people who have played and/or worked for Highlanders Football Club. Still in its infancy and drumming for support and membership, the Group of the faithful servants of Tshilamoya intends to grow and work for the protection of the team's legacy and success the team.
Primarily, the members who have made a Facebook Group, the Bosso Legends, are an Association of former Highlanders players recently formed and its constitutional members are former Bosso players and anyone who worked in the technical team of Bosso at any given time that includes the medics doctors and physios. The Former Highlanders Players Association (FOHIPA), are appealing to the masses at large to join hands with them and contribute positively in this ground-breaking endeavour.
According to the legendary Netsai 'Super' Moyo, "The idea is to keep former players together and closely watching each other because we have had some of us passing away and receiving a paupers burial and we say we want to rid that. Everyone who played or coached Bosso is a legend in his own right".
The Association is in the process of getting a funeral scheme purely designed for Highlanders family. The large Bosso fan base is also welcome to join this scheme. The Legends are still in the process of recruiting and making people aware of who they are and what they are all about.
"It would be encouraging to have the word spread so all the sons of the game can be aware what plans are on the ground because we have always worked as a family", said Super, himself one of the greatest players of al time. Who can forget that Lovemore Majaivana classic song, 'Silo Netsai Emagumeni'?
The Bosso Legends also want to uphold the legacy of former players and many people forget where the team comes from and with these hard times Bosso is going through, the heartbroken fans would really do with memories of the past when Tshilamoya rocked the country and almost conquered Africa a few decades ago.
As seen on the page on Facebook, 'We are Bosso Legends Nothing Else Matters', the sky is the limit for the who made legions of fans have sleepless nights celebrating and feasting week in and week out.
Who can forget the charismatic Mercedes Rambo Sibanda, Willard 'Nduna' Mashinkila Khumalo, Lazarus 'Lulu' Mwambopo, Enerst Maphepha Sibanda, Nqobizitha Humptey Maenzanise, Makheyi Ninja Nyathi, Madinda, Adam and Peter Ndlovu, Aram Tshuma, Alexander Phiri, Alexander Zanda Maseko, Richard Choruma, Blessing Magumaguma Gumiso, Siza Nkinko Khoza, Gift Thebe Lunga Jnr, Thuthani Moyo, Mpumelelo 'Era Munna' Dzowa and Ronnie 'Jeans' Jowa.
There was 'Yellowman' Titus Zii Majola, Tito Paketh, Andrew Shue, Kelly 'Sharp Mafana' Jacobson, Amin 'Cousin' Soma-Phiri, Makwinji Soma-Phiri, Rahman Gumpo, Benjamin 'Mackanaky' Nkonjera, Lovemore Magents Ncube, Methembe Mayor Ndlovu, Honour Gombami, Johannes 'Tshisampama Yoyo' Ngodzo, Charles Chief Chilufya, Kelvin Kaindu and Master Masiku.
Of course you will remember the small and deadly Mubariki Mamba Chisoni, destroying Douglas British Mloyi, Cleopas Nkatha Dlodlo, Captain Fantastic Thulani Biya Ncube, Nkalakatha Melody Wafawanaka, Bekithemba SamaNdloo Ndlovu, Dazy Kapenya, Phephisani and Sikhumbuzo Ndebele, Fanuel Launcher Ncane Ncube (mazita kufekerana), Boy Maxmillian Ndlovu, Nhamo Shambira, Dumisani 'Tshisa Dry' Ngulube, Abraham Nejane Mbambo, Dumisani Savimbi Nyoni, Noel Kaseke, Simon Makwee Sibanda and Netsai Super Moyo himself.

This Association of Former Highlanders F.C Players, former Highlanders Technical Team and supporters, has drawn a constitution and is formerly named as Former Highlanders FC Players Association (FOHIPA). As outlined before, "one of the many objectives is to bring and keep the members of the group in constant contact as well as giving Support to Highlanders Football Club in terms of offering a base of qualified coaches as well as competent football administrators".
