It gives a chance to change leadership and be able to make our leaders know that we put them where they are and are capable of removing them. That way they will not relax once in power but continue to serve the people who voted them into power.

Voting is a democratic right that needs to be exercised by each and everyone who is 18 years and older. It gives us the power to either retain leadership or get some leadership renewal as a community. By participating in elections we are able to safeguard community developments and bring in new initiatives through new leadership if we feel the previous elected leaders were not doing enough.

It is one undisputable issue which we need to safeguard and urge each and every one of us to participate in. Voting helps bring about change and can possibly help us challenge the way things are being done. It is a way of letting out that silent voice within us, and giving it meaning.
