Who is the best, Ndoro or Billiat?

JOHANNESBURG - Khama Billiat and Tendai Ndoro surely rank among the hottest players in the Absa Premiership right now.
As Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates prepare to meet this evening in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals, the talk within the public sphere, media and football circles has been who between Billiat and Ndoro will come out tops.
Such has been the devastating form of the two players that members of the media from the same publications have been forced to take out space and debate among themselves on who is the hottest property between the two Warriors compatriots.
For those in Billiat's corner, they have spoken about how the razor-sharp the Harare-born winger combines speed with an astonishing passing range and in any given opportunity how he has been lethal in front of goals.
Already, the journalists here are saying Billiat will scoop most of the awards, including those of Players' Player of the Year, Player of the Year and most accolades that are presented by the Premier Soccer League when the season comes to an end.
On the other end, those swearing by the black and white of the Ghosts think Ndoro is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to the Buccaneers since the days of Marks Maponyane and then the late Dennis Lota of Zambia.
The gangling striker has been ruthless when facing opposing defenders.
Tonight's match at Lucas Moripe Stadium which kicks off at 8:15pm is expected to be attended by a full house in which the two set of fans will expect their Zimbabwean players to carry the day for them.
This match will not only be followed closely in Mzansi but in most places in Zimbabwe and by myriad of agents who are trying to lure the Zimbabwean duo into Europe.
Where I think the two players belong.
Billiat has been the mainstay of the treble chasing Mamelodi Sundowns and in his absence, the entire Brazilians team has been like a flock without a shepherd.
The good thing however, has been the talk that several clubs in Europe have shown great interest in having a look at the player during the off-season.
That has been the news with regards to Ndoro as well whose amazing form in the second half of the season has even surprised the player himself — admitting in a recent television interview that he has been amazed at the sudden turn of events.
If ever they happen to go to Europe come end of the coming season, it will not only be good for their respective careers but for Kalisto Pasuwa and his Warriors team.
There has been criticism at the way Mzansi football has killed the potential of most of Zimbabwe's players but to its credit, the stage here market players to the global audience.
The likes of Benjani Mwaruwari, Nyasha Mushekwi and Knowledge Musona just to mention a few, have used the same platform to get themselves lucrative contracts overseas.
I honestly hope both Billiat and Ndoro keep their blazing form and jump on the European bandwagon where they will earn good money in this short career of football.
