ZANU PF has not failed workers

It is a fascinating paradox to say that ZANU PF has abandoned workers. In fact the ruling party has improved the working conditions of workers and their professional qualifications as compared to the colonial era. Recently the government has introduced safety nets for low-income group as they are going to get cheap loans, mortgages and the National Health Insurance Scheme has been put on the cards.
The opposition political parties are wrong to believe that Zimbabwe's economic woes, past and current should be solely laid at the door of one man and his party. That is President Robert Mugabe and ZANU PF. In fact we should shoulder the blame on the opposition especially the MDC-T. It was the MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai who had the audacity to call for and invite sanctions. Shame for him as sanctions hurt everyone.
The government has in the last 16 years battled the scourge brought about by the cruel, deleterious and illegal economic sanctions. These sanctions which had affected everyone had been called for by Tsvangirai and little did he know that they would also affect him. The man is a clear and present threat to Zimbabwe's national and political security.
Tsvangirai is simply unfit to rule let alone to govern a country with such a deep and complex history as Zimbabwe. Casting himself as the reluctant hero shows the true reflection of himself as indecisive and inarticulate. His references to himself as being imbued with leadership qualities are laughable and misplaced in a serious autography. It would be valid to say that workers' problems had been called for by Tsvangirai and his Western handlers.
It would be wrong and misplaced to say that ZANU PF has failed the workers, as one might also ask what Morgan Tsvangirai and his colleagues contributed during the inclusive government to the plight of the worker. In fact these opposition members were busy looting resources under the banner of the inclusive government. Most of the MDC-T Members of Parliament and councilors were implicated in shoddy deals.
During the inclusive government era, when Morgan Tsvangirai was the Prime Minister he told one of the civil servants representatives who had engaged him over a salary increment that he was not Government and told them that they were expecting too much and getting that increment was day dreaming. This shows that Tsvangirai is a buffoon of dubious revolutionary credentials.
On the contrary, the ZANU PF government was and still it is promoting to improve the conditions of living of all the workers. The government has always been alive to the need to address labour law gap as evidenced by the several amendments to the law since independence. We should also remember that the government is a signatory to the International Labour Organisation. Therefore to say that ZANU PF has failed the workers is the misinterpretation of reality.
The government has promised to pay all civil servants their bonuses and some have already been paid, and others will be paid when their turns come. It is mischievous for the opposition members to say that instead of having a pool of workers we are now having a nation of vendors and destitutes.
