6 motivational lessons from Leicester City

Then I looked under the sun amongst the sons of men & saw that there was a soccer team in England that had broken records and made history! winning their first ever title , in over 100 years of its existence, just a year after they were almost relegated. I realized that the biggest teams with great and famous players were indeed no match for these new champions. I shook my head in disbelief and sighed "Vanity of vanities says the motivator. What shall it profit a man to buy all these expensive great players and still lose the championship to a little known team.
Lesson 1: A living dog is better than a dead lion (Ecclesiastics 9:4-5). Big name players don't guarantee a trophy. Go for hungry committed players, they will give you positive results....it doesn't matter what field that is. Ancient reputation of ancient success by ancient great players may not bring the trophy home. Be careful in your team selection
Lesson 2: Leicester City was almost relegated the previous season and bounced back as champions this year. Dont judge people by their past failures, believe me people can bounce from their malicious setbacks to marvelous comebacks. Never trust people, they are capable of greatness!!!
Lesson 3: The team has been in existence for 132 years, yet it only won its first ever title this year. Great achievement take time. They may appear like they just came out of nowhere, but behind truly outstanding achievements, there are some years of unseen preparations, years of toil, years of unseen agony.
Lesson 4: Ranieri, the coach of this astonishing team was fired by over 7 teams in his career. He was fired by Napoli a year after he had the team to qualify for the UEFA CUP and fired by Chelsea after leading team to the UEFA Champions League semi-final. Its not everyone who will see your value. Its not everyone who will recognize your potential. You need to keep believing in your God given gifts even when no one is taking note of them. Keep your eyes on the trophy. Your value does not decrease because of someone else's inability to see your worth
Lesson 5: There were many teams with more prominent players who wont even smell the trophy. They trophy has gone with Leicester. Leicester relied on team work rather than individual brilliance. Team work beats individual brilliance anytime.
Lesson 6: Leicester City could have been crowned champions much earlier than did, if they had beaten Manchester United. They didn't win against Man U and had to wait for other matches to be crowned champions. Interestingly when they failed to win at Man U, the fans did not put on long faces in disappointment, they raised their voices passionately singing "We are gonna win the title!!!" The trophy belongs to those who are resilient. Who still shout "We are gonna win the trophy!!!", after meeting a disappointing setback. Yes Joseph, u will see Pharaoh's palace even after that pit and prison. KEEP SINGING THAT!
