Well done Mawarire

Mr editor,
I would be very happy if you would publish this letter for all to see. I want to congratulate Pastor Mawarire for his selfless effort in becoming the first of his kind in Zimbabwe by standing up for the church Which is suffering a great deal under political mismanagement from Zanu-PF and spiritual bondage under many pastors.
If there is anyone to be called man of God then this guy fits very well that description, while many pastors are taking advantage of their not so well read congregants who are suffering because of the political and economic turmoil, the rest of the pastors are standing on the other end waiting for those bruised by Zanu-PF with a big bowl wanting to collect tithe from those same masses with a threat of a curse hanging on the heads of those who don't pay tithe. Mr editor, all these pastors Have become Zanu-PF appendages because of their novitic approach towards the word of God.
That is the reason why these so called people have prayed before for change in Zimbabwe but what has happened, we are moving daily from bad to worse , because belezabub can not cast belezabub. We need real Christians in our country who will stand for the people. Politics comes from a Latin word politi which means people.
Most of these Zanu-PF appendage pastors stand not to represent anything for the people except collection of offerings and tithes. I can not as a pastor zip my mouth as people are oppressed and say politics is for the politicians.
Jesus himself had five titles of which one of them was a king, meaning he had a people and a domain. And besides being a priest which was a spiritual post he could represent his people in any area of life. I thank pastor Mawarire for his bravery for coming out of the cocoon all for the people.
As Mawarire is seeking political freedom for the masses i want to Join him and speak on behalf of those in bondage by Zanu-PF pastors who are collecting tithe monthly from the poor widows and orphans against the word of God. Mr editor sir, i challenge today any tithe collecting pastor to prove he is not a state church who deserves to pay tax like the Israelite church did.
Thank you sir
