Why #ThisFlag Pastor Mawarire should not return to Zimbabwe

The old Bob Marley song says "He who fights and runs away, will live to fight another day".
There is no added benefit to anybody in Zimbabwe to have Pastor Mawarire physically present in Zimbabwe .
His God-given role was to help kick start a process.
That has been done so his job is complete. The protests that have started in Zimbabwe are now unstoppable.
"A hungry man is an angry man". The only way that the government can stop the protests is by fixing the economy.
If the government does not come up with July salaries for the civil service, this may well be their last month in power.
If the Zimbabwean government was a normal government, they would fear touching Mawarire because the international spotlight is on him.
Here we are now dealing with a government that is desperate to find a scape goat for the country's problems and they may act irrationally.
A lot of Zimbabwe's leaders have gone into exile when it is too risky to be in the country so Pastor Mawarire should have no shame in going into exile. He is more useful to the country and to his family alive rather than dead.
