1) The response that, I, Pavelyn Tendai Musaka, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Ghana am presenting is meant for the readers to make an informed judgement as to which category the following Zimbabwean journalist and one Ghanaian journalist fall under. The two journalists from Zimbabwe and Ghana both wrote two different articles after listening to the same Live TV interview conducted by the Ghanaian host from Joy News Television,Ghana on " Mugabe jokes on social media " that he posted on YouTube in June 2016.
a) The Zimbabwean journalist Ms Bridget Mananavire from the DailyNews Newspaper Zimbabwe who decided to mischIeveously link the interview on " Mugabe jokes on social media " conducted in June 2016 under an article " Mugabe won't listen to little boys and girls "published on Monday 18 July 2016 ,with the political demonstrations that took place in Zimbabwe in July 2016 and
b) the Ghanaian journalist from MyJoy onlineGhana who embarassingly seems more professional and patriotic to Zimbabwe and the African continent than our own journalist as he reported more accurately on the JoyNews Live Tv interview in an article titled " Mugabe cares less about fake quotes you attribute to him " .
2) As you will note the journalist from MyJoyonline who quoted the same JoyNews interview reported as follows: "President Robert Mugabe does not care about funny quotes falsely attributed to him,the Zimbabwe High Commissioner to Ghana has revealed....Social media is awash with fake quotes attributed to the outspoken Zimbabwean leader. ...It is not clear when and how the trend started...." Source: Ghana Myjoyonline GN dated 13 June 2016.
3) I am humbly requesting the Ghanaian journalist from joynews NewsDesk's Kwabena Kyenkyenhene Boateng to post on YouTube the full LIVE TV Interview that he conducted in June 2016,which was watched by many viewers in Ghana including his bosses at JoyNews TV , SADC Heads of Mission accredited to Ghana ,Zimbabweans in the diaspora based in Ghana and many members of the Ghanaian public when he was interviewing the undersigned live on the then forthcoming DIPLOMATIC FAIR 2016 which was scheduled to be hosted from 16 to 18 June 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre ( AICC),Accra, Ghana. This is the key evidence that confirms that the Live TV interview was conducted before the Diplomatic Fair 2016 that was scheduled to be held from 16 to 18 June 2016 at the AICC in Accra,Ghana.
4) I am really puzzled as to how the Zimbabwean journalist based at the Daily News Newspaper in Zimbabwe linked the JoyNews TV live interview on the "Mugabe Jokes on the social media "held with the undersigned, H.E. Mrs P. T. Musaka ,Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Ghana in June 2016 with political demonstrations that had not yet taken place in Zimbabwe at that point in time.I request the readers to judge whether this lady journalist at Daily News Zimbabwe had the intention to BUILD or to DESTROY our beautiful country Zimbabwe.
5) I also challenge the Management at Daily News to request their employee ,the Zimbabwean journalist ,if indeed she is professional, to explain why she decided to mischieveously link that same Live JoyNews TV Live interview conducted in June 2016 to the political demonstrations that took place in Zimbabwe in July 2016 ,that is long after that JoyNews Live interview had ended.
6) My advice to my fellow compatriots in Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans in the diaspora and to my fellow compatriots on the African continent and Africans in the diaspora is that we should use the different social media platforms positively by proffering constructive tried and tested solutions to the current economic challenges that our country Zimbabwe and the entire African continent is currently going through for the benefit of the present generation and those yet to be born as each one of us whether young or old has a responsibility to contribute towards the development of the economy in our respective countries throughout the entire African continent.
