Open letter to ZimPF

Zimbabwe People First (ZPF) is the party that is slowly taking over as the main opposition political, at the height of MDC-T flagging fortunes. Are they going to keep the momentum and avoid the pitfalls that have characterized opposition political parties that is another matter?

They have done everything right so far but I have one bone of contention with the party, they continue to give space to Didymus Mutasa, Rugare Gumbo and Dzikamai Mavhaire, old spent men who have nothing to offer. This will be the undoing of the party and if this is not addressed at their forthcoming congress, the writing is already on the wall. It's obvious these gentlemen damascene moment is littered with many unanswered questions and concerns and for them to continue as the front of ZPF, it stinks to the high heavens.

The party need young and vibrant cadres who will endear themselves to the masses. The trio have passed their sell-by date hence ZPF should continue fronting them at their own peril. If the party want to tap into their experience they should assume the role of advisors and work behind the scenes. The men are doing the party more harm than good with their continued presence at Mai Mujuru' allies. They lack of wisdom and intelligence is seen in their speeches. They enjoy mocking President Mugabe at these rallies that his time is up because of his age, the case of the pot calling kettle black.

Mujuru, these men are a de-service to your campaign, if you are failing to attract better people than these then your project is doomed. If you want to be taken seriously as an opposition leader remove these clowns from taking centre-stage in your party lest you are bunched with that circus trio and jeopardize your already slender chances. My advice, come your maiden party congress in September boot these men to the curve if you want to continue having any relevance in the political landscape.
