Until The Herald speaks, writes, and celebrates uMthwakaz'oMhle, then to Hell with The Herald!

And there should be no equivocation about it!
Until The Herald celebrated uMthwakaz'omhle, ondlela zimhlophe, iSizwe soHlanga – and BRAGGED SO AND SAID SO;

Until The Herald stopped being the megaphone of all of THIS Zimbabwe's Gukurahundized and Shonalized public and private institutions' continued unprovoked political assaults and attacks on Mthwakazi, Mthwakaziness, and Mthwakazi institutions; until The Herald this Shonalization policy wrought by this Zimbabwe;

Until the Herald abandoned its anti-Mthwakazi mantra of the past 36 years and became the medium through which the Shona are invited and enjoined to celebrate, acclaim, affirm, and re-affirm uMthwakaziness as co-owners, co-custodians, co-stewards of, and co-investors in, Mthwakazihood and Mthwakaziness;

Until The Herald decried and launched a political crusade to denounce, renounce, and reject the political weaponization of the Shona against uMthwakazi by THIS Zimbabwe, and demonstrated that in deed, letter, and spirit;

Until The Herald rejected, renounced, and denounced Shonaism and GUkurahundism;

Until The Herald renounced, rejected, and denounced its co-ownership of Gukurahundi, Gukurahundism, and Shonaism, and politically divested from all of THIS Zimbabwe's Shona jingoism and its manifestations;  

Until The Herald can say Gukurahundi is now truly co-owned by uMthwakazi and the Shona, as a co-collective moral outrage demanding the collective repudiation and retribution of uMthwakazi and Shona;

And until The Herald can write as a 'national' paper in siNdebele – in The Herald, not just the readers' comments - as it does in Shona, and as The Chronicle does;

Until The Herald stops its relentless tribal attacks on an Mthwakazi institution of sport – yes, you heard me correctly, an Mthwakazi institution of sport – Highlanders FC; Yes, until The Herald celebrates Highlanders FC as a sporting club of football excellence that is supported by a tribe of supporters of the Highlanders FC brand – Mthwakazians and Shonas alike – and not as a political enemy of a supposed Shona political kingdom hiding behind a black and white striped sports attire;

Until The Herald writes openly, publicly, and supportively about uMthwakazi's social and political institutions -  the Ndebele Kingdom, Umgubho weNkosi Mzilikazi, Inxwala, and other Mthwakazi cultural events; yes, until The Herald spoke, wrote, and shouted about all of uMthwakazi's political formations and political parties – the MLF's, the MTHWAKAZI's, the MRP's, Umhlahlo weSizwe sikaMthwakazi, Inqama, and other quasi-political formations - as LEGITIMATE political Mthwakazi formations – NOT 'CONVICTED' SUBVERSIVE formations;

Until The Herald saw, exposed, denounced and spoke out against the Shona tribalism of Zanu-PF, MDC-T, ZPF and other political Shona political groups masquerading as 'national', 'non-tribal' groups; until The Herald denounced the Zimbabwe Project informing, inflaming, and perpetuating this twisted political mindset and political mental programming;

Until The Herald saw the killers of Mthwakazi's fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, aunts, uncles, children, grandfathers and grandmothers and grandchildren; the destroyers of Mthwakazi's properties and vandalizers of businesses; the pillagers of uMthwakazi's cultural symbols and artefacts, and the sponsored and funded mutilators of the Ndebele language day in day out. Until The Herald ALSO saw all of these as the murderers of Shona fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, aunts, uncles, children, grandfathers and grandmothers, and grandchildren; as the destroyers of Shona properties and vandalizers of Shona businesses; the pillagers of Shona cultural symbols and artefacts, and the sponsored and funded mutilators of the Shona language;

Until The Herald stopped being the purveyor of the factually false, politically-perverted and morally-twisted perception that THIS Zimbabwe is a possession of the Shona tribe; that in this self-privileged and self-elevated status, it rewards other 'tribes' access to privilege and status by the extent to which those other 'tribes' have Shonalized (uMthwakazi/the Ndebele are not a tribe!);

Until The Herald accepted that it is as primitive as all of them who hold these Shonaist views of themselves, and of THIS Zimbabwe;
Until The Herald ceased to be a platform and medium for tribally-infused, tribally-driven, and tribally-weaponized deceptions and subterfuges perpetrated in the name of Zanu-PF, Gukurahundism, and Shonaism that we see daily;
Until The Herald took as its public duty, its moral responsibility, its ethical imperative, and its political crusade to say THIS Zimbabwe of the Zimbabwe Project, THIS Zimbabwe of Gukurahundism, and THIS Zimbabwe of Shonaism must be buried at transition – which is now!  

Until The Herald rejected and dumped the tribe – the Shona – as the basis for all public political discourse;

Until The Herald began to champion truth over lies, right over wrong, and love over hate; and joined the civilized world that strives to find the good in others, not the bad;

And until The Herald humbled itself and accepted that it has been, and continues to be, a vital co-owner of THIS failed and failing Zimbabwe Project; that it bears the same responsibility of those who have acted through it over the last 36 years, over economic collapse, infrastructure decay, generalized vandalism, poverty, disease, immorality, and waste;

That it co-owns THIS Zimbabwe Ruins!
That until The Herald accepts that at the point it joined Zanu-PF in Zanu-PF's pet project of turning Zimbabwe into a Shona State fixated with destroying uMthwakazi 36 years ago, it created and established a Mugabe and Mnangagwa who would never resign but rather each in turn would choose to take the State down with them.

And that The Herald has mass-murdered through cheering and cheerleading, conspiracies of silence and refracting the truth when mass-murder invaded the public conscience. That until The Herald looked at its own bloodied hands across the twisted spatial and temporal realm of Zanuism, Shonaism, and Gukurahundism and confronted who it has been in the last 36 years;

Until, until, until The Herald …..
Until The Herald stopped demonizing uMthwakazi, indeed, supported uMthwakazi; until The Herald celebrated uMthwakazi and Mthwakaziness, and not denounced and not treated uMthwakazi and Mthwakaziness as some sort of heralded denouement;

Then Hell, No! To Hell with THIS Zimbabwe and with THIS Herald and everything and everybody who stands for them!

The restorationist movement of those Mthwakazians who want the Kingdom of Matebeleland restored as a national (not subnational) State must intensify and multiply. In the event, it is a legitimate political cause!
