Prof. Welshman Ncube the MDC leader has joined trhe nation in mourning that passing on of Cephas Msipa saying it was unfortunately that ZANU PF, ignored his advice to adhere to leadership of the values and principles of the liberation struggle.

Ncube said Msipa stood for fairness and justice during the heady days of the liberation struggle, did his best to try and be fair to the white farmers who were at the receiving end of the land reform exercise which ultimately cost him his job.

"Had there been more as him in ZANU PF during the last 15 - years maybe the history of this country would have turned out differently. But all we can say now is may his soul find peace and the justice that in real life he was unable to find. Hopefully the future generations will be able to find something in his life story as evident in his book , In Pursuit of Freedom and Justice: A Memoir, to refocus the trajectory of our politics," he said.

"May the Msipa family find solace in the Lord at this difficult time."
