Dudu Masaiti responds to Mugabe's speech at the 12th Zanu-PF Annual People's Conference in full
NO No! Mr President. You are not the Party that brought liberation in this country. Do you have such short memory or have you been praised too much for too long such that you have forgotten that it is Zapu which prepared ground for liberation?
Could you have forgotten Mr President that your entry into politics was the work of Zapu which employed you as the secretary general? Have you forgotten that your skill of dividing people along tribal lines which brought Zanu in 1963 was your divisive craft against the collective work of Zimbabweans?
Now who are you referring to when you say you went to war so that lives could improve? are you aware you are talking about yourself and your cronies and NOT the masses of Zimbabwe. Yes you have the freedom to talk what you want, a privilege you did not have in 1957. But that masses of Zimbabwe still do not have that privilege. This is your independence sir not ours. Ours is coming, when ours comes, we will talk what we want and criticise who ever we want without risking to be arrested by worse than Colonial partisan Police.
Look at Bulawayo and remember the days you used to pull your suitcase at Bulawayo Railway Terminal in 1956. The prosperity of that city was eroded by YOUR craftmenship sir. Bulawayo and the rest of Zimbabwe is now an empty shell. All the delegates in your congress do not have the Zimbabwean Sovereign dollar on their pockets, the have United States Dominating Sovereign Dollar. All this occurred under your leadership.Which other measure of failure do you want us to endure.
Zanu has brought Stone Age lip service under your leadership. You speak the Colonial English Language much better than the Coloniser himself but the results of your leadership are worse than that of uneducated Chaminuka of the stone age era.
Chaminukas Nation was well fed and en-nourished. Chaminukas Nation never needed to go to exile to flee a made repressive regime. And in your speech, you do not seem to be aware that your people still do not have the freedom, the independence, the democracy, the prosperity, the safety they yearn for.
If you are as good a leader as you say, send one of your CIO's just 300 metres radius from Trade Fair Grounds and ask how many people think you are a great leader who improved their City and livelywoods.
Nothing is worse in life than repetitive lie which ends up sounding like the truth.
