Dear Minister Kasukuwere
If you look around the educated youths in Zimbabwe, you will notice that they are poor and they do not have money as much as you have especially if they are not of Zezuru origin. Please honourable Minister, do not take me as a negative waffle but as a fact bearing Zimbabwean who has failed to live in a Zezuru managed Zimbabwe.
Give yourself time to go and see highly educated men of your age in Tsholotsho and Churumhanzi and tell me how many have a nourished body like yours?
Before you start feeling sorry for us who have made it in Diaspora, why don't you go to Gweru Shurugwi Makusha and welcome the educated but unemployed youth there?
Why don't you go to Gwanda Jambezi and spread your kind and welcoming arms to the educated and unemployed youth there?
Why do you want to Grandstand and welcome me in my expensive Fendi perfume which you can't even get in Zimbabwe although you have the money? Why do you want to grandstand and welcome me today and yet in 1983 you used to kick me and show me that I am not Zimbabwean enough unless I am Zanu?
Have you said sorry first or you just feel sorry for how I am being abused in Diaspora?
I tried to do A-Level education in Zimbabwe in 1988 but, didn't you condemn me to the bin when I failed the English Language? The English people who are custodians to the English language did not condemn me. They enrolled me not to your A-Level but to University and they believe my English is superb and they pay my fees, rent food and clothing.
The British Banks can lend me up to £35 000.00 whenever I feel I need capital to start a business and your lovely but empty welcoming arms can only lend me £35.00 if I am lucky.
Have you fixed the potholes by the way?
Once I have finished my Engineering Degree in a year's time, I can earn up to £120 000, 00 a year and how much can your welcoming arms pay me?
Minister, I am trying to show you that most Zimbabweans left home after being failed by you and your Zanu PF self- centeredness. We love Zimbabwe probably even better than you.
Last time I was in Zimbabwe I did not like the degeneration of corruption by ZRP and Makombe House operatives. Zimbabwe has never seen that level of lowness even in the days of Munhumutapa.
The tape water was like donkey urine Mr Minister and was not worth to bath let alone to drink. Electricity is switched on and off in a way only comparable to indicators of a busy urban taxi.
Ian Smith was a Hero Mr Minister. He was rough and racist but his water was clean. His currency was stronger that a British pound. His hospitals were comparable to non in Africa. His roads were World class. The railway was salubrious. Air Rhodesia wonderful. Electricity constant. Employment 88%. Agriculture best. Rhodesian University producing World acclaimed graduates.
Ian Smith could call me back home I would only ask him to change ONE thing – Racism.
There are so many things Minister that you have damaged and will never be repaired during my life time. I can't even ask you to change a murderous behaviour either, you haven't admitted that you are a murder. At least Smith acknowledged that he did not believe that Blacks were worthy.
Have you admitted murder? Ok, murder is just one of the many things. What have you admitted that you do wrong? Have you admitted tribalism? WHAT THEN SHOULD CONVINCE ME TO COME TO YOUR OPEN ARMRS?
You said you have opened your arms to welcome suffering people from diaspora. HOW do you welcome us?
I will rot in jail for saying "Futseki Mugabe" and yet in diaspora I can say "Futseki Zuma", "Futseki David Cameroon" and sleep safely with my children at home.
I can publicly say that I support the Labour Party in Britain without risking death by Chipangano in the ruling Conservative Party.
My children do not pay a penny from nursery to University in the UK and yet I won't afford to pay nursery in Zimbabwe unless I join Zanu like Makhosi Musambazi.
Get my promise very well Minister, I love Zimbabwe and I love it better that you. I love it better than you because if I were President of Zimbabwe, I would protect its lovely and smiley people. I would protect its loved landscape. I would protect its international dignity. I would protect its currency. I would improve its infrastructure not on a selective basis. I would respect its citizens and remember that there were those before me and there will always be those after me.
I would do everything to keep Companies expanding and creating employment in Harare as it is in Bulawayo. I would respect the democratic will of the people.
I would not need to welcome my country men who are abused in Diaspora as there would be none.
I would be like my black neighbours in Botswana, Swaziland or South Africa. They do not need to plead for their people to come back home. Their people go, learn and come back to prosper their fairly ruled countries. If I choose to come to Africa, I would go back to South Africa and just visit my loved Zimbabwe. I can't live there because of you Minister.
It is a shame to wear a suit and stand in front of people and lie that you have opened your arms to welcome your persecuted Diasporans. The best thing Minister is to be true. When you begin to be true, the people of Zimbabwe will find you worthy to wear a tie and suit and tell the truth. You will be respected.
The first step to be honest in your situation is to admit that you messed up. Admit that you cant reverse the multiplicity of damages you caused to your people. When you say that, even I can be tempted to consider coming back home. I would risk it all and come to improve my country in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector.
What I would never keep taking is a repetitive lie.
I would respect the words of a repentant man. Nothing in life is as abominable as a person who lies perpetually and hopes that people who are not on the microphone are all fools.
You Minister and your President strongly believe that you are super and all else in Zimbabwe is filth. Repent first and watch the positive response of the Nation and its economical muscle.
