Mangoma scares Tsvangirai

Dear Editor

Tsvangirai's fears of Elton Mangoma are genuine! He is the only man who understands the strength shrouded in him. Tsvangirai chose him to be his Chief negotiator during Global Political Agreement talks which led to the Inclusive Government of February 2009 - July 2013 after noticing his potential.

Mangoma is charismatic, judicial, witty, tactful and well-calculating that he managed to bargain the best deal for the MDC-T which earned Morgan Tsvangirai the post of the Second Prime Minister of Independent Zimbabwe. This was the first time for him to participate in the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Since the inception of the MDC-T in 1999, Tsvangirai lost Buhera North where he contested as a candidate for the Member of Parliament, 2002 he lost presidential polls, 2008 he failed to finish the full cycle of the polls, and recently on July 31, 2013 lost dismally to President Mugabe.

So far it is only Elton Mangoma who improved his political Curriculum Vitae meaningfully by negotiating successfully for him to be at least a Prime Minister.

Mangoma's negotiating prowess earned him a good followership amongst members of the diplomatic corps. They like his firmness, impartiality and his visionary leadership potential. This contributes immensely to their inclination to him than Tsvangirai who is serial loser in all his political endeavors

The donor community, which props up the party operations through funds injection, is equally frustrated by the armature performance of Tsvangirai on the political front. His ZANU-PF rivals have proved invincible for his clueless political vision which is now devoid of any hope.

This demonstrates why calls for leadership renewal in our MDC-T party are gathering momentum and heating-up each day. Mangoma is the gallant fighter who is implementing true democracy in MDC-T through speaking for the voiceless party cadres who are tired and pained by Tsvangirai's collapsing political career. It is prudent for Tsvangirai to hand-over the baton to someone now to avert eminent ridicule for him which is looming. He deserves a dignified exit in the interest of the party. He should be reminded that the 'handiendi' (I won't go) mentality does not pay!

The hypocritical utterances by Nelson Chamisa equating Tsvangirai to a Godly Messiah are thunderously amazing! What is Godly about him when he schemes to eliminate all dissent voices ruthlessly in the party? Biti and Mangoma survived attempts on their lives by a narrow whisker! And his hand on all these plots is visible. Be sane Chamisa! Or you will continue to mislead this man who is abandoned by all supporters.

Mangoma should be reminded that the rest of the party is behind you! And that victory is certain! Pain or no pain Tsvangirai is surely heading towards doom in this party! He is a tired political horse who has out-lived his welcome!

Tsvangirai if you are a true democrat as you claim, Go Now and pave way for New Leadership to stir MDC-T! To be fore-warned is to be fore-armed!

Mangoma I say forward ever! Backwards never! Keep scaring Tsvangirai till he leaves!
