Sometime in 2012 Bellevue Spar in Bulawayo advertised a Grocery Credit Scheem. We were allowed to borrow groceries on credit and the money was to be deducted through our bank accounts.

At the end of the month I discovered that Bellevue Spar did not deduct its money through my bank account, I then decided to go and make a cash payment. However Bellevue Spar Management refuse to take cash insisting that they will deduct their money through the bank. No deductions were made for four months.

After four months I received papers from Bellevue Spar lawyers demanding over US$500-00, I had taken goods which costs only 124 dollars.

I questioned how my 124 dollars credit can translate to 500 dollars over a period of 4 months.

I requested for a bank account for me to deposit the principal money while we continue negotiating over the interest Mr Ncube refused to give me the account number insisting that I must first sign forms admitting that I now owe Bellevue Spar 500 dollars I refused to sign.

Mr Ncube said the shop was now taking me to court and I agreed.

I received nothing from them since 2014. Today I receive I message from them telling me that I now owe them 8000 US dollars.

These people dont even know that it is illegal to collect interests of over 100 percent of the principal money. To those who still joining the scheem please take care these people are crooks. They want to reap where they did not saw.
