Fighting crime is everyone's child

Our ZRP is a hard working entity no wonder they are always on the United Nations tick list. On the other hand the Criminal Investigation Department has managed to account for most criminals chasing them from every corner, never letting them rest.

However I think the policing methods in the country can still be improved by the addition of 'stop and search'.

The majority cases of grievous bodily harm are a result of rogue elements who move about with concealed dangerous weapons like okapi knives and 'knuckledusters'.

Potent dangerous drugs are also carried in pockets and satchels for delivery to users. In yesteryears plain clothes officers would randomly stop those carrying suspicious bags and politely ask to see  the contents.

With the high rate of crime in the country especially towns and cities, stolen phones, illicit drugs and dangerous weapons can easily be intercepted.

A little inconvenience to members of the public can go a long way in curbing crime. Tools like bolt cutters and screw drivers can never be innocently carried about without evil intentions.

You get someone carrying a complete car wheel on his shoulders walking away or selling by the roadside, why not check the source of such items? Night strollers carrying TVs, radios and car batteries must account for them. The holidays are upon us, fighting crime is everyone's child.
