Bank robbers got away with an undisclosed amount at POSB Filabusi branch on Friday evening after ambushing the bank manager at his home before force marching him to open the bank at night.
The robbers who still at large reportedly went to the manager's house at night and the children informed them that he had gone to watch the World Cup but they said they would wait for him.
Bank managers in Filabusi have reportedly been requested Police to guard their homes but nothing has materialized.The liquidity crunch compounded by high rates of unemployment have forced many into crime
