14:55, 26 Sep - +27 6* *** ****: Would like to comment on Makandiwa and his "prophecy"
It is not very difficult to see that in this instance Makandiwa is not relaying a message from God, but this is a script written at zanu pf HQ and given to makandiwa to deliver on a pupulation which they perceive to be very docile. This is at best a statement coming from a con man masquerading as a prophet and deserves to be labelled satanic. The moment maziwisa was appointed deputy spokesman for the church, all signs were there for anyone to conclude on this strange relationship.Church and politics are strange bedfellows whose union is bound to generate discord among onlookers. But one thing that will forever remain etched in people' s minds is that Makandiwa despite getting rich from the seeds of the poor and down trodden has decided to ditch these very building blocks and join the oppressors. We can safely say he has joined the propaganda department of zpf but as certain as the sun rises in the east, this switch marks the beginning of the end of this sorcerer masquerading as a prophet. He talks of bloodshed? Who is going to shed the blood of innocent for people daring to cry out aloud to the govt to fulfill its election promises in light of the deteorating economic situation. If indeed he is a man if God why is he not bold enough to stand up and tell the same govt he is supporting to respect people's rights to demonstrate? What this man seems to forget is that these same poor people form the majority of his congregation, hence must not be seen to be siding with the unsupportable. He talks of a vision by the president to better our situation and wants us to believe that a 90 yr old can all of a sudden come up with new ideas to resuscitate a commatose economy.I am not saying he must support demonstrations or anarchy but must learn to shut up when he has nothing constructive to offer.
