Various countries across the globe celebrate World Mental Health Day through several commemorative activities and events. WHO, this year has declared the theme for the Mental Health Day as "Living with Schizophrenia".

18:25, 10 Oct - ‪+263 7* *** ****‬: Zimbabwe today joins the rest of the world in commemorating World Mental Health Day focusing on Schizophrenia a condition that can be managed resulting in sufferers leading a productive life.

World Mental Health Day is meant to raise awareness on mental health issues around the world and mobilise efforts in support of mental health.

It also provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

We however worked with various stakeholders to this day a success, including ZIMNAMH, Ministry of Health & child Welfare, Zim care Trust, Vimbainashe Learning Institute, Epilepsy Support foundation Zimbabwe , and others.
