Police have chased people out of Africa Unity Square, with more than 100 officers in riot gear clearing the park, including chasing away vendors.
A group of about ten identified Itai Dzamara and two other colleagues and chased them.
Dzamara had to run to the offices of Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights and the police members tracked him into the building.
