5:58am, Nov 16 - +263 7* *** ****: BCC PLANS A TOTALLY NO NO....The plans being mooted by the local authority to install prepaid water meters should receive the greatest contempt it deserves. There is no way the people of Bulawayo who are suffering from poor cash in flows can be able to "buy"water. This is a selfish stance by the BCC.The residents of Bulawayo must refuse such a move that has the propensity of leading to a health hazard in the city. The City has a wide section of widows and families which are dependent on its diaspora relatives.Fast cash is scarce because of joblessness and meagre salaries that Bulawayans earn.Already the residents have to pay prepaid electricity from ZESA.Now the City Council seems to want to follow suit.I think as much as this might seem like a good means for the local authority to earn revenue,it would definetely milk out the already limited cash of the populace...MAHARRIS
