11:32am, Nov 17 - ‪+263 7* *** ****‬: There is rampant corruption at V.ID Plumtree. P.S.V owners pay  United States $150.00 more to have their vehicles checked and assessed for roadworthiness. Surely in these hard economic times currently facing us in Zimbabwe where do we get the money to give to these corrupt VID officials. They hardly ever check on the vehicles once they get the money......but issue out the certificate of fitness.

The man in charge of the depot, a [name supplied] is aware of the 'happenings' and turns a blind eye. He benefits from every vehicle assessed.

The police and the anti corruption commission are aware of this but seem to turn a blind eye also.

Where should we turn to honestly?

Even on roadblocks these VID officers demand $5 for every PSV to pass through; failure to pay of which the vehicle is targeted and impounded.

Honestly can't something be done as we are no longer making meaningful business as a consequence of their unwarranted corruption and uncalled for behaviour.
