Tsholotsho passes budget without any comment from MDC-T councillors

Tsholotsho Rural District Council passed US$1,800,000 budget without any comment from the 8 MDC-T councillors.
Tsholotsho RDC is dominated by Zanu-PF councillors who crafted this budget. It is therefore surprising that the opposition party passed the budget without a whimper.
These councillors from the opposition party do not deserve the trust bestowed on them by the people of Tsholotsho.
The budget was passed without the copies of the budget and the budget statement,the councillors were happy with the oral version as read by the Finance chairman.
The meeting lasted five minutes only to the utter disbelief of council staffers.
The only thing worth noting is that Tshitatshawe High school will be swiched on on the 22nd of this month. As expected the area MDC councillor was not notified by the council executive and had to rely on hearsay.
