11:42am, Nov 21 - +263 7* *** ****: Road accident involving a combi and and a haulege truck has claimed 6 lives leaving others injured. The accident occurred yesterday 20 Nov 2014 at 1830 hrs at Mambarangwa village Chipinge South along the Chiredzi-Mutare highway Four people died on the spot with the other 3 dying on admission to St Peters Hospital Strayed cattle tried to cross the road in front of the oncoming truck.
The truck driver tried to give way to the cattle changing to the other lane .Oncoming was a combi whom the driver after seeing that the truck was along his lane also changed to his opposite lane which resulted in a collision with the truck which was making its way to original lane
