Elton Chigumbura omitted from the cricket squad

Elton Chigumbura is the major absentee from the Zimbabwe cricket teams' 24-man provisional squad that will be gearing up for a tour to the West Indies next month.
Brendan Taylor leads the 24-man training squad.
Chigumbura who has been struggling for form on the international scene emerged as the biggest casualty from the squad that also includes Regis Chakabva, mountaineers top order batsman Hamilton Masakadza, Craig Ervine, Tinotenda Mawoyo and Vusimuzi Sibanda.
Bowlers called to battle for a place in Zimbabwe's squad that will travel to the West Indies are Seamers Christopher Mpofu, Keegan Meth, Kyle Jarvis, Tendai Chatara Mike, Chinouya, Edward Rainsford, Tinashe Panyangarara, Brian Vitori and Cuthbert Musoko.
Spinners vying for a place in the Zimbabwean team are Prosper Utseya, Natsai Mushangwe, Graeme Cremer, Raymond Price, Tinotenda Mutombodzi and Tymcen Maruma with Malcolm Waller, Sean Williams and Nathan Waller the all-rounders in the side.
The West Indies tour will see Zimbabwe clashing with Windies in three One-Day International matches, two T-20 internationals and two test encounters.
