Manhood biting prostitute gets 420 hours of community service

The Gweru prostitute, Wadzanai Marimo (34) who critically injured her long-time client by biting a chunk off his manhood has been sentenced to 18 months in prison by Gweru magistrate, Ms Florence Nago.

Marimo of Number 94/2 Mtapa suburb, who was convicted on her own plea, was lucky to escape jail term after the court ordered her to do community service at Mtapa Police Station.

Marimo had six months of her sentence suspended on condition of good behaviour while the remaining 12 months were suspended on condition that she performs 420 hours of community service at Mtapa Police Station.

The State's case against Marimo was that on Monday night, she was drinking beer at Mahari Bottle Store in Mambo suburb together with her boyfriend, Mr Brain Shumba.

The court heard that the two then left the bottle store and went to Marimo's lodgings in Mtapa suburb where they had agreed to put up for the night.

While at Marimo's place, the two had sex but were involved in a scuffle after Mr Shumba refused to pay for the services rendered. The two, who had a long-time relationship, then resolved to forget about the immediate payment.

The court heard that Marimo later proceeded to caress Mr Shumba by kissing his shoulders and sucking his manhood as they prepared for another sex session.

Marimo later bit off the head of Mr Shumba's manhood before she bolted out of the room and spat it outside.

Mr Shumba fell unconscious as a result of excessive bleeding and was rushed to Gweru provincial hospital where he regained consciousness hours later.

The matter was reported to the police leading to the arrest of Marimo.
