Bosso fans launch 'Asifuni Bumbulu' campaign in bid to raise money for fine

Highlanders supporters have instituted a fund raising campaign in anticipation of a hefty fine from Premier Soccer League (PSL) disciplinary committee.

Highlanders has been summoned next Tuesday to a hearing following crowd trouble, which led to the abandonment of their league match against rivals Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Supporters are requested to contribute a $1 each towards the fund.

A gathering is set for this Saturday in Bulawayo.

Highlanders supporters pelted assistant referee Thomas Kusosa with missiles and invaded the pitch.

Pitch invasion or missile throwing carries a $2 000 fine.

An estimated 18 177 football fans paid to watch the game which only lasted 40 minutes.
