Former Radio Zimbabwe presenter Ezra Tshisa Sibanda has dispelled the claims that he has a say in the Highlanders FC affairs as to who should be employed.

He said he has been inundated with calls, messages and barrage of abuse by people who claim to be Bosso supporters saying he is failing to run the club properly.

"These people should know I hold no position at Highlanders, have no influence on the running of the club and have no say on who should be employed as a coach. I'm a simple loyal fan, life member and a son of Highlanders FC. Rumours are rife that l hold a position at Bosso and l am the man pulling the strings at Tshilamoya. I repeat I have no say, I'm also frustrated by the status quo and seeing Bosso on a downward spiral kills me. We are seeing our institution getting decayed every week while we are watching and doing nothing," he said.

"People accuse me of talking too much but l can't ignore when the situation at the club we all so love is getting worse. Our club is destroyed by the Board which is not fit for purpose and whose function and role remain unclear. These are people who the constitution says they direct the club and executive. Why the power when they don't even help or put a penny to the club? Why should they have the power to run the club yet they were never voted for but smuggled and hand picked by their friends serving in the executive."

He said some of those board members lost elections before but came through the back door to find themselves having more power than those who were voted by Highlanders Fc members and this is criminal.

"Bosso membership which is ageing fast has been voting and recycling failures to run the club. They agree to anything the board says hence all this mess we are seeing at Highlanders. They put membership fees to be so high to make it impossible for new members to join so that they can do as they wish with Bosso. They know the economic situation in Zimbabwe is too bad and most of the real Bosso fans are not working and can't afford $50 annual membership fees and won't attend AGMs to have a say. It's done on purpose because they know the young generation will vote them out once they can afford to buy membership which allows them a say," he said.

"Get rid of the Board, get rid of the executive members who were never voted for but were smuggled and given positions in the Bosso Executive Committee, get rid of the Tshinga Coach who was imposed to the club and get Bosso legends to take over the technical team. Akbay was imposed by Tshinga who appears to have more power than the executive. Players we have at Bosso are mercenaries, they are just after money, have no will, no desire and no hunger to win. No passion at all. This can't be tolerated anymore!"
