FOUR Zimbabwe football teams go hunting this weekend on international assignments and fans are hoping for a better showing after Wednesday Warriors defeat.
Hwange, Motor Action, FC Platinum all play at home while Young Mighty Warriors are in Maputo Mozambique.
The Rahman Gumbo coached FC Platinum take on Green Mambas of Swaziland today (Saturday) at Maglas Stadium.
FC Platinum carry a 4-2 lead in the African Champions league contest.
FC Platinum secretary general Philemon is quoted saying the game " is just a formality and are already focusing on the second round".
Hwange clash with Tanzania's Jamhuri at the Colliery on Sunday and have a healthy 3-0 lead. Technical manager Tenant Chilumba says moral is high among the players but they will guard against complacency.
Motor Action have a trick tie with South Africa's Black Leopards at Rufaro Stadium after the two teams played to a one all draw two weeks ago.
However, a goalless draw could be enough to see Motor Action through to the next stage. But a high scoring score line would be good for Black Leapards.
A win for Motor Action would see them take on El Merrikh of Sudan.
Young Mighty Warriors play at Liga Muculmana Satidiumn on today (Saturday) seeking to progress to the second round of FIFA under 20 Women's World Cup.
But that appear an easy task as they beat their opponents 4 nill two weeks ago in Harare. The girls, if they progress face Nigeria.
On Thursday the girls team was denied training facilities by their host.
