The once popular Highlanders chairman Ernest Sibanda is back at Bosso.
The man best known as Maphepha was suspended from the club in March 2010 for allegedly involved in a controversial transfer of former hitman Obadiah Tarumbwa.
The disciplinary committee said Maphepha pocketed $3000.
Early this year Maphepha wrote to the club begging for leniency.
In a letter dated May 15 to Maphepha by Bosso board secretary, Jimmy Ncube accepted the former chairman back to the club.
" Please be advised that at its meeting the board resolved to accede to your request to suspend the remainder of your sentence as a gesture of its appreciation of your good behaviour during service of two thirds of your punishment.
"The reprieve is with immediate effect. Welcome back to the club"
Sibanda says "there is no substitute to experience. I have been in football administration for 19 years, I have more to offer to Highlanders,".
