Energy Mutodi blasts Warriors

Deputy Minister of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services Energy Mutodi is an angry man after the national soccer team was walloped in Egypt yesternight.
"Warriors of shame: after courting President ED to fundraise for the team, we are shocked and displeased by their dismal performance." Mutodi fumed. "It's clear the coach is a spent force. Players are weak and helpless. It's time for new players, new coach...of all teams ndombolo hit us hardest!"
The Zimbabwe national team were bundled out of the 2019 African Cup of Nations after being hammered 4-0 by DRC in their final Group A match on Sunday
A win for the Warriors, given the events at the Cairo International Stadium where hosts Egypt beat Uganda 2-0, would have seen them make history by booking a place in the last 16, as the runners-up in the group, but a limp show, when they needed to flex their muscles, will now see them heading home.
President Mnangagwa led a fundraising process that saw him sell his signature scarf at an action.
Professor Jonathan Moyo said, "it looks like the Warriors, players and coaches, decided to make good their boycott threat on the field of play. In the process they proved that, just like they are capable of amazing performance, they are also capable of breathtaking unprofessionalism!"
