Highlanders midfielder, Mthulisi Maphosa is on the verged of dumping trailblazing Zimbabwe premier league log leaders for South Africa's Pretoria University side.

Maphosa sneaked to South Africa two weeks ago and impressed Pretoria University technical team.

Bosso chairman, Peter Dube confirms that the team might lose Maphosa. " He did go for trial two weeks ago but I cannot confirm if he sealed a deal with that team" said Dube.

The departure of the dependable 23 year old would be a huge blow for coach Kelvin Kaindu.

Meanwhile, Highlanders owes players an average of $250 each as winning bonuses.

The money dates back to their 1 nil win against Hwange.

This has raised speculation that the two draws that followed afterwards is an indication of low morale.

"The players are yet to receive their wining bonus of beating Hwange. Each player receives $250 for a win," said the source within Bosso set up.

However, Bosso players and technical department salaries are paid by sponsors, BancABC.

The club has an obligation to foot the players and coaches bonuses.
