FORMER Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu on Friday evening wept when he relived memories of the horrific accident that claimed the life of his elder brother, Adam and a female friend, during the launch of Sandra Ndebele's video on Traffic Safety at a Bulawayo hotel.
The fatal accident, which involved Peter's BMW X5, occurred at the 417km peg along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road on 16 December with the soccer legend behind the wheel.
Another passenger, Nomqhele Tshili, died in the crash.
Ndlovu, one of the southern region's traffic safety ambassadors and arguably the country's best ever footballer could not contain his tears as he took to the podium to give a solidarity message in support of the new project by Ndebele. Before giving his speech, Ndlovu attracted the sympathy of the audience as he broke down before them.
The emotional moment lasted for a few minutes before the football legend gathered strength to deliver his message.
