Highlanders players resumed training on Thursday ahead of their last Premier Soccer League match against FC Victoria at Mucheke Stadium on Sunday, without receiving their dues.
The players have been on strike since last week pressing for the payment of their monies which include salaries, bonuses and allowances.
On Tuesday, Bosso players who spoke to some journalist had vowed not to attend training until all their outstanding monies had been paid in full.
The Highlanders executives called a meeting on Tuesday to resolve the chaos that has rocked the club since last week.
The club promised to pay the players in batches starting from Thursday until the money was paid in full next Tuesday December 21.
By Thursday it was still not clear if Highlanders would fulfil the promise to pay the players, as some of the players, who requested anonymity, said that the executive had not lived up to its word yet.
However, another Highlanders player who also requested anonymity, said they had resumed training.
"I am going for training. But I have not received any money. They said we might be paid tomorrow (Friday)," said the player.
Another player from Bosso also said he was going for training although he said he had not yet received any money.
"I am on my way to training. But I have not been paid any money. Maybe they will give us tomorrow (Friday)," he said.
No immediate comment could be obtained from club secretary Andrew Tapela on Thursday.
