Bulawayo giants Highlanders are in the dark about when their Adidas replicas will be available on the market.
This is in sharp contrast with the situation at their Harare rivals Dynamos who will reportedly start selling their regalia Saturday.
Highlanders chairman Peter Dube yesterday admitted that they are yet to get their hands on the kit.
"I understand the replicas are now in the country but I am not sure when they will go on sale," Dube said.
"We are yet to be contacted by our sponsors Banc ABC who facilitated the deal with Adidas and so at the moment we are not in a position to say when the kit will be available."
When contacted to shed light on the issue, BancABC's Desmond Ali referred this reporter to E Sport, owned by Edzai Kasinauyo, who he said were handling the disbursement of the replica kit.
An E Sport representative who answered the phone said he did not have the authority to comment on the issue and would get back to the paper when his boss came back from a meeting.
He still had not done so by the time we went to print.
