Bosso trio job hunting at Chicken Inn

The Highlanders trio of striker Francis Kanda, midfielders Protasho Kabwe and Menard Mupera are reportedly in talks with newly-promoted Premiership side Chicken Inn.
An impeccable source told reporters that Kabwe was seen at the Innscor headquarters in Bulawayo where he held talks with some executives of Chicken Inn.
The source also said the duo of Kanda and Mupera were also negotiating with Chicken Inn but he was not aware how far the discussions had gone.
The club is chaired by Lifa Ncube while veteran administrator and lawyer Tawengwa Hara is the club's secretary general. 
Hara denied that the fast-foods outlet team had spoken to Highlanders' players in their individual capacities but said they had written to Bosso asking if they could be offered some players. 
He said the other reason they had sent correspondence to Highlanders was to introduce themselves as new neighbours in the league.
"We have not spoken to those players but I can confirm that we wrote to Highlanders to ask if they could offer us some players and introduced ourselves to them as new neighbours. We are waiting for them to respond. As far as we are concerned, the three players still belong to Bosso. Unless of course they are in the streets next year, they can come for trials with the rest of the players," Hara said.
Although Highlanders ended the 2010 season on high note, perched on position three on the log-table, things have not been rosy for the Bulawayo giants, who were rocked by financial problems. 
Of late, the Bosso players have been on industrial action, demanding unpaid salaries, winning bonuses and allowances with some players still being owed signing-on fees for 2009 and 2010. 
But there could be more problems for Bosso as most of the players' contracts expire on December 31. 
After the industrial action, some of the players at Bosso confirmed to this publication that they would fulfill their last two league matches against Kiglon at Barbourfields Stadium and FC Victoria in Masvingo.
They drew 1-1 with Kiglon and dispatched FC Victoria 2-1 but the trio of Kabwe, Mupera and Kanda were not part of the squads that played the last two games. 
At one time, coach Mkhuphali "Mr Cooper" Masuku said the three were not in good health but it emerged that they had actually been ejected from a hastily-organised training session before the Kiglon match for indiscipline. 
The three allegedly incited the other players not to attend practice and not to fulfill the Kiglon match.
Bosso have been in a precarious financial position this year and they have confirmed that they would not be participating in the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Orange Confederation Cup next year due to lack of resources.
