THE Mbada Diamonds Cup final, set for November 30, will be staged at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo, organisers confirmed Monday.
Highlanders knocked out Harare City while How Mine stunned Caps United to set up an all-Bulawayo final for the first time in the history of the competition.
The last two editions were staged in Harare as they both had clubs from the capital.
Mbada Diamonds corporate services executive George Manyaya said they want to take the game closer to where the two teams' fans are hence the decision to have the final played in Bulawayo.
Highlanders beat Harare City 5-3 on penalties in an exciting match at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane on Saturday while How Mine made another giant killing act after a dramatic 4-2 penalty win over Caps United at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The winners of the Mbada Diamonds Cup will take home $130,000. How Mine have already booked a place in the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup as Highlanders, even if they win, are banned for three years after pulling out in 2011.
How Mine will also receive an additional $110,000 for their participation.
