FC Platinum 2-0 Highlanders
Rahman Gumbo the new head coach for FC Platinum made a remarkable return to domestic football after six years with a deserved win over Highlanders in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Mandava Stadium on Wednesday.
Charles Sibanda scored the first goal with a 48th minute strike, two minutes before the final whistle Donald Ngoma came with a header which left the home boys with no hope for a draw match.
After the match Rahman Gumbo was asked what he thought of the performance by his team and he said: "I have been out of touch with local football for six years. I need time to adjust. I am happy with the team that I found in place but I can tell you we are still a long way from becoming a complete team,"
