Bosso's Kangwa set for Belgium trials

Highlanders left back Bruce Kangwa is set for trials with Belgian side Anderlecht and joins a long list of Bosso players who could be heading for the exit door come June.

Goalkeeper Munyaradzi Diya, Milton Ncube, Peter Moyo and Kuda Mahachi are all set to join the Absa Premier League at the start of their 2014-15 season and the players will have to link up with the clubs in June for pre-season training.

Kangwa is the latest to attract interest from outside but his could be a bigger deal if he nails it in Belgium.

Anderlecht is one of the top sides in the Belgian Pro League and participated in the Uefa Champions League this team falling by the way side in Group stages.

Sources at Highlanders this week said that a formal request has already been made to the club and all is set for the player to try out his luck in Europe.

The Pro League is home to Warriors attacker Ovidy Karuru at OH Leuven and former Caps United striker Nyasha Mushekwi who plays for KV Oostende.

Highlanders are looking to launch another assault on the league title after falling agonizingly close to Dynamos in the last two seasons.

But despite assembling one of the strongest sides, they may well revisit the transfer market in the mid-season window to replenish with an exodus looming.

Bosso have acquire the services of Warriors defender Felix Chindungwe from Chicken Inn but failed in their bid to lure Danisa Phiri from the same team while a six month long loan deal for Mahachi could give the club the kick start they need.

Highlanders is on the prowl for a striker after the team lost Njabulo Ncube to FC Platinum.

After two seasons at the helm of the Bulawayo giants technical department Kelvin Kaindu will be looking to wrestle the league championship this season.

Bosso's rivals are also sweating over the potential loss of their star players with Dynamos likely to lose a host of players to South Africa as well.
