Highlanders coach Kevin Kaindu is expected back in the country before the end of the week, just in time for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) match pitting the Bulawayo giants against premiership returnees Chapungu at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.
Last week Kaindu travelled to the United Kingdom for a Uefa ‘B' License coaching course, leaving the team under the charge of his assistant Mark Mathe.
Highlanders chairman Peter Dube yesterday said Kaindu would be in charge when Bosso play their opening PSL match as he is expected to have returned from Britain before the end of the week.
"I'm not too sure when he (Kaindu) will be in the country, but I think he will be leaving the United Kingdom on Thursday," said Dube.
"What I'm sure of is that he will be here just in time for the weekend game and he will be taking charge of the team."
Mathe, who his taking the team through its paces in Kaindu's absence, said Bosso started training for the match yesterday, but expressed confidence his charges will upset the airforce side that knocked them out of the C G Msipa Charity Cup tournament in Gweru last month.
