Led by Denzel Khumalo, Mpopoma failed to turn their dominance into goals thereby dropping 2 crucial points at home.

In the under 16s Mpopoma turned on the power to collect maximum points through an Samuel Madamombe second half strike that ensured that Mpopoma Districts maintained their unbeaten run in the District league games. However, Luveve Districts were trailblazing in the under 18s thumping a depleted Mpopoma 2-0 to maintain their own unbeaten run in the process also giving Mpopoma their first defeat of the games.
