Confirmed, Highlanders will take on Bloem Celtic in South Africa

What was a romour is now reality as Ellis Park has confirmed that the match between Highlanders and Bloemfontein Celtic will take place on the 9th of July 2011. Highlanders are currently enjoying a good spell in the Zimbabwean league and the Mkhuphali Masuku lead Bosso is expected to give Siwelele a good match for their money.
In a press statement released today by Ellis Park World of Sports (Pty) Limited said they are continuing with their drive to bring exciting and spectacular events to Coca Cola Park, with the current trend to ensure Coca Cola park is kept busy with events, we have embarked on a Challenge cup between Bloemfontein Celtic and Highlanders F.C from Zimbabwe on the 9th July 2011. At Coca Cola Park, In the Ellis Park precinct we are surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Zimbabwean foreign nationals, and as our policy at EPWOS we support our community and are bringing Highlanders F.C. to South Africa to the delight of our neighbors and South African Supporters.
